Our southwestern native plant palette is like no other in its diversity, resilience and exquisite beauty. Each plant found in the multiple ecozones in our region expresses smart design with adaptive features such as highly cutinized leaves, altered leaf orientation, deep and fibrous root systems and provision of food and habitat for wildlife.
When choosing plants for our clients' sites, we opt for those that are rarely seen or appreciated and whose qualities are appropriate for the particular ecological setting. Melampodium leucanthum, Silene laciniata, Holodiscus dumosus, Philadelphus micophyllus and Eriogonum umbellatum are a few of many wondrous natives whose form, texture, bloom, scent and value contribute integrity and unique character to the local landscape, while easing the need for labor-intensive maintenance and excessive water.
